The average adult gains about 1.5 pound of body fat per year-maybe slightly less.
1.5 pound is 5250 calories.
5250 calories when divided over one year is about 14 CALORIES PER DAY.
How easy is it to burn 15 calories in one day?

I remember getting a “Ted Williams” weight set from Sears when I was 12. I asked my Dad if Ted Williams was a weight lifter (the answer was no). I am still not sure why Sears put Ted's name on our weight set. :-)

I remember ordering two meat-lovers’ pizzas on Saturdays as I watched college football (with Diet Coke of course) in the mid-1990's. Maybe later I would get a huge Cherry Coke Icee and throw a big bag of peanut M&M’s in the super-sized cup.
