ACADEMIC and CAREER

  • Jeff serves on the Adjunct Faculty of the ATSU Arizona School of Health Sciences (ASHS) Human Movement Master's of Science (M.S.) Program: http://www.atsu.edu/ashs/online_programs/human_movement/faculty.htm#Blair
  • Jeff has served as national functional training expert for a joint National Academy of Sports Medicine and University of North Carolina Sports Medicine research review project;
  • Jeff served as a primary author for research accepted for publication by the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research (JSCR).  The JSCR is a peer-reviewed publication and is considered one of the top exercise science journals in the world.
  • Jeff holds a Master's Degree in Human Movement.
  • Jeff was hired by CBS Studios in 2009 to train actor Alex O'Loughlin for a starring role opposite Jennifer Lopez in "The Back-Up Plan" movie (Released Spring 2010).
  • Jeff also holds a law degree (J.D.).
  • In 2005, Jeff published "Never Get Old" (Morris Publishing).
  • Jeff has published articles in a major state university publication, a national magazine and various other publications.
  • Jeff is currently working on his second book to be published in 2010.
  • Jeff has presented to the American Diabetes Association and Santa Monica College among others;
  • Jeff has over 7,000 hours of personal training experience.
  • Jeff has served as volunteer Strength and Conditioning Coach to Pacific Palisdades (CA.) girl's soccer team and volunteer Physical Education teacher at Walgrove Elementary (Mar Vista, CA.)

 

ATHLETIC

  • Jeff has completed an Ironman-distance triathlon and numerous shorter triathlons
  • Jeff has complete a marathon and numerous other shorter distance races.
  • Jeff won an 198 lb. open division Powerlifting contest in 2007.
  • Jeff played NCAA football
  • Jeff played in the Over 30 Baseball World Series in Tampa, Florida.
